These terms cover the Santra app for Windows and this website. Santra is made by Janzee ("we", "us"). By installing Santra or buying a licence you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to support@santra.pro.
What you can do with Santra
- You may install and use Santra for personal or work use, on as many PCs as you like, with the free plan.
- The free plan includes your first 25 conversions or tools on each PC. File actions (copy, move, copy path, terminal, share, float) are always free.
- Santra Pro removes the limit. It belongs to the account that bought it and can be signed in on up to 3 of your PCs at the same time. Signing out on one PC (in Santra's Settings, or on your account page) frees its place.
- Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It includes every 1.x update. A future version 2 may be sold separately; Pro will keep working on the version you have.
What you can't do
- Share your Pro account with people outside your household or team, or sell or rent access to it.
- Get around the free limit or the sign-in check, or help others to.
- Copy, decompile or modify Santra, except where the law allows it or a component's own licence does (see Licences).
Buying
Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record. That means Dodo Payments takes the payment, works out and charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt; their buyer terms also apply to the payment. We never see your card details. Refunds are explained in the refund policy.
Your files
Santra works on your PC. It never uploads your files, and we can't see them. New files are saved next to the original (or in a folder you choose) and Santra never overwrites the file you dropped. Still, please keep backups of anything important: no software is perfect, and you are responsible for the files you convert and for having the right to use them.
Accounts
You need an account only to buy Pro and unlock it. Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens with it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may close an account that breaks these terms; if we do so without good reason, we'll refund you.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Santra reliable, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be free of errors or suit every purpose, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Santra. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be removed by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms as Santra changes. If a change matters, we'll say so on this website and in the app before it takes effect. The version that applied when you bought keeps applying to that purchase.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws where you live.
